Kristina Danzer Laiblin was a versatile artist with eclectic interests. She particularly enjoyed water media. Born in Michigan, she lived in California most of her life. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from California College of Arts and Crafts. She studied with many recognized artists, including the late water-colorist, George Post.
A design major, Kristina pursued a professional career as an environmental designer. During that time, she created commissioned works for commercial and residential clients. She offered arts and crafts courses for children through the local community college’s program for kids. She also hosted classes in her home for small groups of young children.
When her own children became adults, Kristina returned to her love of watercolor. She participated in various workshops and fostered personal and professional friendships with water-colorists Carl Miller, Clair Oak, and Evelyn Wright. She lived in California’s Central Valley with her husband near their children and grandchildren.
